Boise State Lacrosse Gets Off the Schnide
Boise State had a slow and difficult start to the 2011 lacrosse season dropping games at #3 BYU, vs Chico State, at Washington, at #15 Simon Frasier, and at Oregon. The Broncos got off the schnide with an impressive victory over the Montana Grizzlies 15-8 on Saturday in Boise. Boise State was lead by midfielder Jake Christensen (3 goals, 2 assists), attackman Gunnar Guth (1 goal, 4 assists), and goalie Kevin Kaup (21 saves). The Broncos lead throughout and performed well at both ends of the field. I also have to give a shout out to John Riddle for scoring his first goal of the season after I had been giving him a hard time all week – nice job Riddle!
Anyway, here are some photos from the game compliments of Boise State goalie coach Shawn Carmen:
Boise State’s next scheduled game is against the Arizona Wildcats (5-3) in Tuscon, AZ on April 2nd. Nice win on Saturday and good luck in a couple weeks!
