New Boise State Football Swag?

Boise State is quietly putting together a solid 2012 recruiting class with nine commitments already for next year’s class. Of the nine verbal commitments, five are from Texas, three are from California and one is from Florida – the three states most notorious for producing Division 1 talent.  Cornerback Donte Deayon (Summit HS – Fontana, CA) verbally committed last Wednesday and tweeted some pictures from his visit including what appears to be new swag. There have been rumors of new Nike Pro Combat Uniforms for the 2011 season – based on Deayon’s pics it looks like the rumors might be true.

The new jerseys look like the Pro Combat Unis worn in the MAACO Bowl against Utah and I’m not sure the gloves are new but they’re too sick to not put on here. If you aren’t already excited for the season to start, perhaps pictures of the new unis will help - only 75 days until the opener against Georgia. Maybe we’ll get to see the Broncos in all white with the mythical white helmets against the Bulldogs in the opener…

Always nice to get a HT!

The gray numbers on the blue jersey have a gradient to them, but I can’t tell if any of the others do (kinda doesn’t look like it). I really like that gradient & hope it’s there for all the colors.

I can’t see a gradient on the other colors either – I guess we’ll see. Regardless, I think the new ones will look much better than last year’s jerseys. I wonder if they’re changing the helmets too or just going with the blue (and hopefully white) Pro Combat helmets they wore last year..

Yeah, the HT is awesome!  I just hope I didn’t get @AyoItsND:twitter  in trouble by RT’ing/linking this.  xD

I’d apologize to him, but it would be an NCAA violation to talk to him before LOI day.

I can’t belive that the Salisbury players have to walk a country mile, on a street, in cleats, to get from the locker rooms to the stadium. makes for dramatic video and pics, but must be a pain in the ass and hard on their equipment budget.
